Are you ready for the best end-of-season party around?
Welcoming that sweet spring sunshine back, Park City's Spring Grüv promises 16 days of huge free concerts, and now in it's 12th year, this year is going to be the best yet!
If you have just joined the Park City community, then this is the perfect introduction to our city coming together to enjoy the last few days of the winter season on the slopes.
This après-ski event also signals a change in the real estate season, so keep a close eye on Park City ski properties - this is a fantastic time to think about ski properties!
And if free music and family events weren't enough, Park City's Pond Skimming Contest is back with a vengeance! The most popular party in Park City is celebrating it's 23rd year. So put on your wildest, funkiest costumes and let's see if you have what it takes to cross the 100-foot pond.
2019 Spring Gruv Musical Lineup
This year's musical line-up is star-studded.
With musical talent's from across the country, participants can enjoy music from great country artists, funk artists, rock artists and more. Shows for all ages, musical tastes, and you are bound to find your new favorite bank at the Spring Grüv Concert Series.

2019 Park City Pond Skimming Contest

What is pond skimming? Pond skimming is a traditional end-of-season event at ski hills across North America and beyond. A wild start from the beginning, this is the ultimate spectator sport!
This rites-of-spring event's rules are simple: ski, board, or slide across the pond. You either skim or swim - either way the crowd will cheer! Creative outfits are the norm, and the crazier it is will quickly make you a fan-favorite!
Tips for Pond Skimming
Ready to pull out your super-secret best pond skimming outfit? There is more than meets the eye to this sport!
Best Pond Skimming Tips:
- Boards flat, tips up!
- Wax, wax, wax those skis (wax repels water!)
- Go straight
- Speed is your friend
- Dress to get wet
- Have fun, this is not a serious event!
